Description

There's a Hippo in My Bathtub Samantha hears splashing!   This takes her on an imaginary adventure where her toy Hippo and her favorite book, "The Dancing Hippo Family",  come together to create another adventure for her and Nana.   They play in the yard, have a camp out, a trip to the zoo and lastly a stuffed animal party that helps to bring Rainbow Splash and her dad back together again.   Delightfully narrated by Emily Goes.

    It was so touching. Learning the love of a hippo and a child. My 3 year old enjoyed that it was a little girl reading the book, I try to bring character to a story for her, but this really made a difference in imagination. I think she found it more real in her world of make believe. I am so for imagination and having kids explore the imagination. Great approach to letting the child's imagination flow and just have fun with creativeness.

    Super fun book! My grandchildren enjoyed reading and listening to the story. Also read Samantha and Nana's first book "There's A Dragon In My Garage" Samantha has a great imagination and Emily has a great narrative voice. What a fun family project. Hope there are more to come.

    We love this book. The youngest of my 5 loves to be able to listen to the story without asking her sisters to read it. She feels so independent. The story is fun with a family touch and has a warm ending. We downloaded the other one too - both are a hit with my girls.

    This is a really CUTE story! It has that same personal touch as the first book. Once again, I love how you use snapshots to help tell the story in a way that my granddaughter can relate, as she plays with her toys in much the same way. I'm a big fan of the narrating. Shelby can sit in a chair, open the book and press the play buttons on each page to hear the story. What fun you must have putting this together. Looking forward to the next book.
